This policy explains how Chair Cover Hire uses cookies and similar technologies on www.chaircoverhire.com, what each one does, and how you can change your choices at any time.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are essential for the site to work, for example to keep items in your basket. Others help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Under UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and UK GDPR) we only use non-essential cookies if you agree to them.
Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose. You can accept all, reject all, or pick individual categories under “Manage”. We remember your choice for 180 days, then ask again.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link here or in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies we set on our own domain.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site such as the basket and checkout may not work.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
These help us understand how many people visit, which pages are popular and how visitors find us. We use this to improve the site. They are only set if you choose “Accept all” or turn on Analytics under “Manage”.

We also use Jetpack Stats, which counts page views. Like the cookies above, it only runs if you accept analytics.
Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics does not set any cookies on your device. It may still receive basic, cookie-free signals (for example that a page was viewed), which do not identify you and are used only to give us an estimated count of visits.
Marketing cookies
We don’t currently use any advertising or marketing cookies. The “Marketing” option in our cookie settings is there so that, if we start measuring Google advertising in future, it will only happen with your consent. We will update this policy before that happens.
Third-party links and sharing buttons
Our pages link to other websites, such as Google reviews, Facebook and other social networks. Those sites have their own cookie and privacy policies. They may set cookies when you visit them, but not from our site.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the cookies we use change. If we add a new kind of non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent again.
