What is the minimum number of chair covers I can hire? A minimum order of 50 chair covers is required.
What is your availability? We have over 3000 chair covers so can accommodate more than 1 event at a time however it is advisable to book as soon as you can. We are probably the cheapest chair cover hire company in the UK so understandably we get a lot of business & we can run out especially during the Christmas & wedding season.
Can I book in advance for 2008/2009? Yes – We are taking bookings for 2008 & 2009 at the same price you see on our price list!
Which colours do you have in stock? We stock good quality white & Ivory chair covers.
Organza Sashes – White, Ivory, Gold, Lilac, Purple, light Pink, Candy pink, Fuchsia Pink, Light blue, Royal Blue, Periwinkle, Navy blue, Chocolate brown, Burgundy, Silver, Red, Emerald Green, Black, Sunflower Yellow, Turquoise, Lemon, Mint green, Spring Green, Moss Green, Black, Peach, Dark Burgundy, Lime green, Orange, Dark Orange, Antique gold, Rose Pink.
We will be adding on more colours in the future according to customer demand, so if your choice of colour is not on the list above, please let us know as we can order it in from our suppliers.
What size chair covers do you supply? We supply 4 styles of chair covers. Round top cover, square top cover, Cheltenham gilt cover & the folding chair cover. These are the designs most venues use.
How do I book? Please fill in the booking form or drop us an Email with your requirements. We will contact you advising on availability and a quote. Please pay £50 deposit to secure your date by sending a cheque to chaircoverhire or on the Pay deposit page using your debit or credit card or paypal account (please note we do not hold customer credit/debit card details). This deposit is taken off your final balance. Please note bookings are NOT made until the deposit is received.
How do I order a sample? We charge £9.99 for all each sample sent out. We only send out samples on receipt of payment. This cost is refunded when the sample is sent back and an order is placed. Please kindly advise us on your choice of sample e.g round, square or Gilt chair on the paypal payment slip or drop us an Email after payment is made.
How much is delivery/pickup? We charge a flat fee depending on the number of chair covers required. This charge is displayed on the Home page.

When will the covers be dropped off and picked up? Linen is dropped off 2 days before the event to the venue or home address and picked up from the venue or home address the next working day after the event. Please see our terms and conditions page for more information on delivery & pick-up.
Can I pick up linen myself to save on courier charges? Yes you can. Linen can be Picked up between 17:00 - 18:00 on Thursday and returned at the same time on Monday.
Do you set up? We only set up venues within a 30 mile radius of Milton Keynes at 80p a chair with a minimum order of 100 chairs, however from experience it takes 2 people who have never done this before about an hour to fit 100 chair covers & tie 100 bows. Most venues are happy to put the chair covers on however it is advisable to ask them first.
Do Chair covers need ironing? No - covers do not need ironing. We use a professional dry cleaning/Laundry company to clean & press and package up our linen. Linen does not need to be re-ironed on delivery.
When is the full balance expected? 4 weeks before the event date.
Do I need to pay a damage or loss deposit? Unfortunately we have to request a deposit against loss or any irreparable damage. This will be returned as soon as the chair covers/sashes are checked and counted. Full replacement cost of £10 will be charged for each chair cover & £5 for each sash lost or damaged. (please see terms & conditions page for details)
What is considered as damage? examples are minor food & drink stains on the linen and minor shoe damage round the bottom of the chair covers is acceptable and will not be charged for, however more serious marking such as candle wax, crayon, marker pens, footprints on the seat, burns and rips or if the cover has been dragged along the floor/outside etc will be considered as damage and a replacement charge will be required.
When do we need to return the covers? We usually book the courier to pick up the chair covers on the next working day after the event as stated in our terms and conditions unless this has been discussed prior to hiring the chairs. All pick up failures will be charged for. If you have picked up the chair covers yourself we will want them back on the next working day (usually Monday) so they can be laundered in time for the next event.
